Ferdum stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like James Pearson has been cut.
Ferdum has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ferdum throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pearson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pearson is looking to counter punch.
Ferdum is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pearson misses with an uppercut. Ferdum saw that one coming.
Pearson looks to land a right hand but Ferdum moved out of range.
Pearson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ferdum.

Arenas missing with a left hand there. Gomez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gomez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A countering left hand to the body from Arenas misses.

No joy there for Gomez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oh Gomez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arenas flashes Gomez a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Gomez's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Gomez crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Arenas punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
