A fine choice. Volkov has chosen Major Lazer & DJ Snake - Lean On (feat. MØ) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gabriel Vera has the better chin. Volkov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vera is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Volkov, into his guard.

Vera is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Volkov is looking for a sweep. Vera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Volkov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Vera. Oh but Volkov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Vera goes limp - he's gone! Volkov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
