The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barera scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Jacob Rousso has been cut.
Barera keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Barera slaps away a takedown attempt from Rousso, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rousso uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barera.

Oooooh!!! Barera has knocked Rousso down with a huge combo! Barera steps away and waves a wobbly Rousso back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Barera lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Rousso head around and knocks him out cold! Barera hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

As Annuaku tries to get set, Pitbull tries to push him back and clinch up but Annuaku manages to avoid the attempt.

Pitbull displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Annuaku throws out the jab.

Pitbull really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Annuaku fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pitbull to the ground. Annuaku is now in Pitbull's guard.
Annuaku passes into half guard.
Still in half guard, Annuaku seems content to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pitbull manages to get to full guard.

Annuaku drops back looking for a leg! Pitbull is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pitbull manages to kick Annuaku off! Annuaku jumps back into Pitbull's guard.
Annuaku is pushing down on Pitbull's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pitbull is fighting to maintain full guard but Annuaku has managed to sneak the leg through.

Annuaku slips a nice elbow through Pitbull's hands, connecting with Pitbull's forehead.
Pitbull is trying to control but Annuaku manages to pass to mount!
Pitbull is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Annuaku tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
