The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Jones blocks the leg kick.
Flame tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Flame ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jones steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Flame.
Flame pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've been hearing reports that Flame has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Flame, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Flame against the cage but Flame circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yoga Flame has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Jones.

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flame to keep the fight standing.

Trejo lands a big elbow - Browne is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Trejo!

He turns his back on Nexus, trying to create some distance but Nexus rushes him, striking wildly and Marshal goes down! The referee tackles Nexus into the cage to end the fight! Nexus is one violent man!
