Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rocky Tyson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Rubey!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubey checks a leg kick.
As Tyson backs off Rubey throws a huge counter combo but Tyson manages to avoid it all.
Tyson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rubey scores with a jab to the body.
Tyson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Rubey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tyson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Chris Rubey has been cut.
Tyson misses with a few strikes there.
Rubey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tyson.
Rubey jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tyson works Rubey's body with a nice hook.
Rocky Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson misses with a lunging right hand
and Rubey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Rubey.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rubey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyson.
Tyson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Tyson lands a left and a right that send Rubey crashing to the mat, dazed. Tyson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rubey misses with a wild body shot.
Tyson misses with a straight right.
Rubey shoots in and drives through. Tyson sprawls well.
Nice shot lands for Rubey.
Tyson missing with a left hand there. Rubey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A slapping body kick lands there for Tyson.
Rubey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tyson moves away.
Tyson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Rubey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rubey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That has opened up Chris Rubey's cut even more.
Rubey uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyson.
Tyson jabs at Rubey's body.
Tyson is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Tyson cracks Rubey with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rubey looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tyson finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rubey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyson.
Tyson lands a really nice looking cross but Rubey seems unphased.

The cut above Chris Rubey's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tyson throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tyson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rubey on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tyson. Tyson obviously looking to wear him down.
Rubey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Rubey is rocked!
Rubey is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Tyson Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Rubey is out cold, face down on the mat!
