The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Midas lands with a good body shot.
Belfort tries to close the distance and clinch up but Midas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Midas was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Belfort chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Midas can pounce on him.
Belfort ducks right into an uppercut from Midas.
That kick from Midas tenderised Belfort's leg. Belfort is trying to keep his angry face on.
Midas lands a nice leg kick that just misses Belfort's sensitive parts.
Midas cracks Belfort with a right hand to the side of the head.

Diaz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marella doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diaz.

Diaz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Thorvaldson pivots and extends the arm, Pyy falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Thorvaldson! Well done that man!
