MuayThai is looking to regain half guard here but Korobeikin keeps moving and retains side control.

Korobeikin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by MuayThai, who protects the arm well.
MuayThai takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MuayThai takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

MuayThai wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Korobeikin has ideas of his own. He's got hold of MuayThai's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Juravlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Askren is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: wave after wave mr probs. Benny Askren struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
