Pozar shoots in looking for a takedown. Taisumov tries to sprawl out of it but Pozar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taisumov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Taisumov. No joy for Pozar on that attempt.
Taisumov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Pozar Pozar has been cut.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Taisumov has cracked Pozar with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Taisumov lands another huge swinging hook and Pozar tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pozar, before Taisumov can land any more shots!

Puch looks to land a combination but Tahuna avoids it well.

Robledo Puch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Robledo Puch will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Eka Tahuna is the new lightweight champion!
After the fight, Eka Tahuna was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
