Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sellus Gravius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gravius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Morrowind. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sellus Gravius!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vyacheslav Romanov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Romanov staying out of range there.
Gravius stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Romanov.
Gravius throws a front kick aimed at Romanov's knee but Romanov avoids it well.
Gravius has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gravius lands an overhand right.
Romanov throws a sloppy head kick and Gravius moves out of range easily.
Romanov defending well as Gravius loads up on a big left hand.
Romanov misses with a body kick.
Romanov throws a head kick that misses.
Gravius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Romanov checks a leg kick.
Romanov's coach down at Morbid Conditioning, Trans, Esc School $1000 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Romanov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gravius cracks Romanov with an open hand slap.
That kick from Romanov tenderised Gravius's leg. Gravius is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gravius with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gravius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gravius lands with a hook. Romanov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Romanov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gravius.
Gravius lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Romanov crumples to the floor! Gravius milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sellus Gravius!
Sellus Gravius retains his super heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Sellus Gravius started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
