We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Draymond working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Remo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Remo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stabler shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Elliot Stabler has been cut.

Jesse McGulloch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elliot Stabler.

McGulloch cracks Stabler with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McGulloch has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stabler to stand back up!
We've been informed that Stabler has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Rodriguez uses his free foot to push down on Stark's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stark.

Stark tries to lock up and control but Rodriguez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Rodriguez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stark is surviving well by controlling Rodriguez's body position as best he can.
