The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markov throws a low kick but it's checked well by Marcus.
Markov works over Marcus's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Sam Marcus has been cut.
Markov stuns Marcus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Markov. No joy for Marcus on that attempt.
Marcus goes for a double leg but Markov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Markov continues to drive forward.
Markov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marcus feints a counter leg kick.

Marcus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Markov, pushing him back against the cage.

Markov manages to break the clinch.
Markov wants to slow Marcus down by chopping away at his legs.
Markov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Markov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Marcus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Markov has knocked Marcus down with a huge combo! Markov steps away and waves a wobbly Marcus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Vello Tehnas has been cut.

Tehnas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Striker, pushing him back against the cage.

Tehnas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Striker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tehnas was well out of range. Poor timing from Striker.
Tehnas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Striker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Striker sizes up Tehnas with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vello Tehnas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tehnas shoots in looking for a takedown but Striker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tehnas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A quick step to the side and Striker tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tehnas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Tehnas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Striker tries to avoid it but Tehnas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Striker to the ground. Striker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Striker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Striker tries to close the distance and clinch but Tehnas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Owen has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
