The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eye bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Eye drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mato sprawls and moves away.

Eye shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Eye wants to control from the top but Mato keeps moving.
Eye is fighting to break Mato's control of his arms but Mato is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Midas lands a big head kick that sends Wells tumbling to the mat! Midas takes a step backwards and waves Wells back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Midas sends Wells crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Midas is motioning to the referee to let Wells up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Wells is still on wobbly legs! Can Midas finish him?
Wells does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wells swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Midas cracks Wells with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Midas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wells to stand back up!
Midas seems to be stalking Wells here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Wells drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ki Won shoots for a takedown but Rawlings saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rawlings looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rawlings tries to clinch there but Ki Won circles away.
Ki Won shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rawlings pinned against the cage. Rawlings gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cheng Ki Won. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ki Won swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ki Won tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rawlings sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ki Won somewhat.

Bones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Taka is just riding it out for now. Bones eventually gives up the hold.
We've been hearing good reports from Bones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Taka pushes Bones off looking to stand but Bones dives back in and keeps control.

Bones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Taka is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
