And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hume misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCallum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hume moves into the clinch successfully.
Hume with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Hume is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McCallum can't fight it off and eventually Hume manages to take the fight to the floor. McCallum looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McCallum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCallum throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hume accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCallum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hume lands a heavy shot. That's hurt McCallum! Hume sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless McCallum and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Desmond Hume spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
