The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
McClain throws a right hand that Carwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Carwin also avoids with ease.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McClain!
McClain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mubaracus Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from McClain misses the target.
Carwin digs a good body shot into McClain's ribs.
Carwin lands with a hook. McClain tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carwin throws a right hand that McClain ducks under and follows up with a left that McClain also avoids with ease.
McClain appears to be looking for a big counter.

We've been hearing reports that McClain has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It seemed like Carwin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carwin slips a jab and a cross from McClain.
Carwin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Carwin has McClain pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Carwin pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending McClain tumbling to the mat - Carwin dives into McClain's guard.

Carwin is trying to control McClain's posture. McClain takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Carwin! McClain is rotating here... this could be the end... Carwin is out! McClain has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

Burrito tries to keep at a distance but Jay has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Burrito softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Jay makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Burrito misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Burrito throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jays head.

Burrito lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Burrito .
Burrito being controlled against the ropes.
Burrito can't find room to land a body shot as Jay controls the action.

Burrito drops Jay onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jay is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Jay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burrito creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Jay's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Jay drops to his knees and Burrito pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Klinjsma slips a nice elbow through Octavius's hands, connecting with Octavius's forehead.

Octavius is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Klinjsma has latched onto it... Big trouble! Klinjsma pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Octavius is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Klinjsma!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Bozzi will probably get the nod.
