Tartan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dradic circles away quickly and effectively.
Dradic is looking for a counter combo.

It looks like Reshad Tartan has been cut.
Tartan is looking to clinch but Dradic is avoiding it.

Dradic drops Tartan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tartan looks back up at him and smiles so Dradic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Tartan is rocked!

Dradic fakes the body blow, causing Tartan to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Tartan goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

St Pierre shoots in for a double leg but Mason sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mason quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

St Pierre fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mason to the ground. St Pierre is now in Mason's guard.
St Pierre throws a strike but Mason rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mason slips nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mason in particular looking to stall.
St Pierre is staying active underneath Mason, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mason has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

St Pierre looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Oooooh!!! Mason has knocked St Pierre down with a huge combo! Mason steps away and waves a wobbly St Pierre back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Mason is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches St Pierre flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! St Pierre is out cold! Mason holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kang Gae Ri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Johnsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gae Ri comes to the cage accompanied by Leessang - Tears. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gae Ri looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
