It looked like Whyte was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Stockton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Whyte slips a jab and a cross from Stockton.
Whyte feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stockton's calf.
Whyte takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews cracks Ryan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sean Matthews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ryan misses with a takedown attempt - Matthews sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ryan moves forwards but Matthews connects with a nice, crisp jab.
