The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gower throws a hook to the side of Callaghan's head but Callaghan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Callaghan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A big left from Gower misses.
Callaghan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gower to score with a decent uppercut.

Miller comes to the cage accompanied by "The Four Horsemen" by Metallica. Ho Lee Fuk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuk throws a head kick that misses.
Fuk lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nice straight punches there by Fuk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fuk.

Fuk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Fuk finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Miller wants to sweep here but Fuk controlling him for the moment.
Miller wants to stand and escape but Fuk is having none of it.
Fuk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moraes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Johns looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Markov is fending him off so far but Johns persists. Nope, Markov circles away and we're back to standing.
Johns has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Markov.
Johns swings for the body but Markov moves out of range.
Markov unleashes a big counter combination but Johns bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A big right from Johns misses.
Markov stuffs the takedown.
Johns lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Markov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Johns eats them both and turns towards Markov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Charlie Johns has been cut.
Johns tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Markov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Markov drops Johns with a right and a left! Markov comes rushing in but Johns regains his composure and manages to keep Markov in guard.

Markov wants to get up but he can't break Johns's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've been hearing good reports from Johns's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Johns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Markov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Markov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Markov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sackett fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Teló has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sackett throws out a counter right but Teló avoids it with no problem.

Parmalee Sackett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Teló has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Teló there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sackett throws a body shot but no joy.
Teló tries to counter with a takedown but Sackett is quick to defend against it.

and Sackett counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Michel Teló has been cut.
Sackett on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Teló. Teló obviously looking to wear him down.
Teló throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Teló moves out of range of the leg kick from Sackett.

Sackett misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michel Teló.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Teló, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
