The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrei shoots for a takedown but Waker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Waker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Andrei.
Andrei on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Waker cracks a nice hook into Andrei's ribs.
Waker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Waker sizes up Andrei with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Waker lands with a nice combination. Andrei backs away looking to recover.
Andrei tries to move into range but Waker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Andrei pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Andrei takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Waker works Andrei's body with a nice hook.
Andrei is breathing heavily.

Waker drops Andrei with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Andrei looks back up at him and smiles so Waker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Andrei is rocked!
Andrei walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Andrei limp body while Waker jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

A little jabbing left from Ruff on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
No joy there for Mushu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ruff has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
