Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hai Shang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hai Shang told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roger Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hai Shang!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Shang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Schwarzeneg misses with a takedown
and Shang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shang, right into the meat.

Schwarzeneg tries to clinch up.
Schwarzeneg goes for a double leg but Shang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shang continues to drive forward.

Hai Shang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schwarzeneg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Monet comes to the cage accompanied by Downstait - Open Your Eyes. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Boros Monet spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

De Fran lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fighters circling - Crane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from De Fran in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
