Ru on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Speed looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Speed takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ru tries to clinch up.

Ru and Speed are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Ru throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Speed into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Ru knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maui Wowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shepherd comes to the cage accompanied by Radioactive by Imagine Dragons Ft. Kendrick Lamar. Wowie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dont bogart that joint. Maui Wowie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Wowie's coach down at RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wowie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jason Shepherd was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm disappointed in myself, the opponent outclassed me. There's no one to blame but me, only thing to do is head back to the gym and get ready for the next fight.'.

We've been hearing good reports from Mortaza's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
