On his way into the cage it seems that Lars HoutKooper has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lars HoutKooper seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pott.
Pott cracks HoutKooper with a big right hand but HoutKooper just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
HoutKooper is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Pott in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Jack Pott decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Turner lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Wates sprawling to the canvas. Turner follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Wates hang on?

Wates has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Turner is on him like a limpet, forcing Wates back against the cage.

Wates has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Turner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Low Ki.
