Sambo is looking to defend but Rick has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sambo! Rick pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sambo taps out and this one is all over!

RIck misses with a takedown attempt - Dawes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
RIck shoots in looking for a takedown but Dawes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing RIck's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bush fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bush shoots for a takedown but Steller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Steller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Steller wants to control but Bush is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Steller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bush lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Steller quite badly. Steller pulls Bush in close trying to recover. Bush postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Steller on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Steller doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
