That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maciej Zegan.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Beling!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Zdravko Dren!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beling tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dren sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beling somewhat.
It seemed like Dren was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Beling takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dren connects with a nice looking jab.
Dren has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Beling shoots for a double leg takedown but Dren sprawls well. He's pushed Beling's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping body kick lands there for Dren.
Beling takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Beling has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dren.
Dren thows a body kick. Beling tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Beling is breathing heavily.

Dren looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dren backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Beling's temple! It sends Beling violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dren celebrates and the doctors try to help Beling!
