The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper moves into the clinch.
Sarmiento goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cooper prevents it.
Sarmiento is trying to pull guard but Cooper turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cooper has Sarmiento pressed against the cage, preventing Sarmiento from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A nice left hand lands by Sarmiento.
Sarmiento tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Sarmiento breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sarmiento closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Cooper sneaks out the side door and pushes Sarmiento away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Ferrall feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
