Ja lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pettersson circles away quickly and effectively.

Pettersson's coach down at Extreme MMA (7 Elites $250/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pettersson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ja is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pettersson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Pettersson counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Ja down! Pettersson is looking to finish but Ja is intelligently defending himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fitswell connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Chipperson tumbling to the canvas! Fitswell pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Chipperson was done - good stoppage!
