The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pullo avoids the head kick by Bateman.
Bateman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pullo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bateman.
Pullo misses the shot to the body.
Pullo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pullo loads up on a big right hand but Bateman slips the punch.
Pullo throws a head kick that half lands.
Pullo throws a push kick but Bateman slaps the foot to one side.
It looked like Bateman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bateman lands a big head kick that sends Pullo tumbling to the mat! Bateman takes a step backwards and waves Pullo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Titus Pullo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Bateman.
Bateman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pullo misses with a head kick.
Pullo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bateman connects with a body shot that sends Pullo's belly button to the back.
Bateman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bateman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pullo.
Bateman tries a head kick but it misses.
Bateman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bateman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pullo takes one to the chin there.
That has opened up Titus Pullo's cut even more.
Bateman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pullo.
Bateman lands with a good body shot.
Pullo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bateman.
Pullo keeps Bateman at a distance using the push kick.
Bateman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pullo in his tracks.
Pullo checks a low kick from Bateman.
Pullo throws a sloppy head kick and Bateman moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheers as Bateman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pullo doesn't seem phased though.
Pullo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bateman.
Bateman throws a poor cross that misses
and Pullo counters with a nice uppercut.
Pullo lands an overhand right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bateman misses with a body shot.
A jab from Bateman does it's job there.
The cut above Titus Pullo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pullo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bateman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bateman cracks Pullo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bateman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pullo to stand back up!
Pullo is rocked!
Titus Pullo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Bateman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pullo throws out a counter right but Bateman avoids it with no problem.
Pullo is still on wobbly legs! Can Bateman finish him?
Bateman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pullo seems to have recovered his senses.
Pullo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Titus Pullo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
