Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Ebay!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ebay defends it nicely.
A combination from Ebay does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ebay defending well as Weber loads up on a big left hand.
Weber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Weber or perhaps it was just good defense by Ebay, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joshua Weber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ebay's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ebay duly obliges.
Weber fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ebay avoids it really well and circles away.
Ebay throws a right hand that Weber ducks under and follows up with a left that Weber also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Weber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ebay tries to avoid it but Weber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ebay to the ground. Ebay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for Ebay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ebay looks to land a combination but Weber avoids it well.
Ebay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Weber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ebay but Ebay pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Weber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ebay defends it well.
Ebay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Weber has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ebay defend it? Weber steps over the head and cranks it - Ebay is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Weber!

After the fight, Joshua Weber was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Weidman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hampton quickly recovers to half guard.
Hampton is holding on to half guard well.
Weidman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hampton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Weidman wants to control but Hampton is keeping him busy.
Hampton is trying to maintain the position but Weidman is very close to passing his half guard.
Hampton flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hampton tries to roll over but Weidman keeps him under control.

Hampton is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Weidman rolls with it to try and escape but Hampton cranks on the arm and Weidman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
