The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cloud gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Cloud seems to be looking for submissions.

Cloud is looking for a kimura but Vankill is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cloud to get the leverage.
Vankill trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vankill is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cloud scores with a couple of nice shots.

Cloud is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vankill is just riding it out for now. Cloud eventually gives up the hold.

Cloud seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vankill for as long as he can get away with.

Williams is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Day is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Day flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Williams anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Day and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Williams slips an arm under Day chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Williams has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Williams is squeezing on Day like an anaconda would it's prey. Day fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
