The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo lands a jab to Kelly's midsection.
Kelly dives in and grabs Congo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Congo pushes down on Kelly's head and hops out.
Kelly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Congo circles away.
Kelly takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kelly is breathing heavily.
Congo jabs Kelly right on the nose. Kelly blinks but takes it well.
Congo sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kelly's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kelly's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zulu Zulu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu misses with a looping right.
Trew fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Trew looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zulu!
Trew lands a few punches from side control.
Zulu takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
You can see the frustration on Zulu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trew tries for a kimura but Zulu is defending well.
Trew works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Zulu struggling a bit here.
Trew working the ground and pound.
Trew has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Trew swings around for an armbar but Zulu sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Trew's guard.

Zulu won't allow Trew to get back to his feet.
Trew working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zulu.
Zulu trying to control but Trew is working from the bottom.
Trew throws a couple of heel strikes.
Zulu looking to sit in guard and control but Trew gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Trew trying to control the position from guard on top but Zulu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trew accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zulu is pulling down on Trew's head. It's preventing any offense from Trew, at least for the moment.

Trew trying to control but Zulu is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Trew is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Zulu has momentary wrist control but Trew slips an elbow through the middle.
Trew postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Zulu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Trew makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Zulu is rocked!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zulu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zulu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Trew is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zulu.
Zulu is still in real trouble! Can Trew finish him?
Zulu is trying to get back to half guard.
Zulu seems to have recovered his senses.

Zulu keeps trying to improve his position.
Trew in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Trew scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Zulu is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Trew can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

No luck for Hayes with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Elasor was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Hayes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Elasor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

letting Elasor counter with a right hand.
Leon Elasor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Hayes.
Elasor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hayes.
Hayes shoots in looking for a takedown but Elasor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hayes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Elasor throws a quick counter kick to the body but Hayes avoids it.

Elasor looks to land a combination but Hayes avoids it well.

Bag moves into the clinch successfully.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Luxmoore.
Luxmoore is trying to drag Bag to the mat but Bag just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bag turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Bag wants to stand but Luxmoore has his arm trapped.
Luxmoore tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luxmoore takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bag trying to control the action but Luxmoore is working from the bottom.
Luxmoore definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bag is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Luxmoore to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Luxmoore shrugs it off.
Bag lands a couple of good shots and Luxmoore has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Luxmoore is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bag stuffs the takedown.
Luxmoore shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bag pinned against the cage. Bag gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Luxmoore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bag unleashes a big counter combination but Luxmoore bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Bag is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bag is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Well, if Bag is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Luxmoore is looking for a sweep. Bag is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Donny Bag has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bag moves into full mount! Luxmoore won't be happy about that!
Bag pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bag trying to control but Luxmoore is having none of it.
Luxmoore is trying desperately to improve position.
Bag tries to control but Luxmoore wriggling away.
Bag has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Luxmoore's face.
Bag loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Luxmoore scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bag land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bag stands and salutes the crowd.

A relieved looking Donny Bag thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

and Souvlaki counters with a single leg into guard. Yeboah didn't expect that.
Souvlaki distracts Yeboah with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Yeboah looking for a guillotine here but Souvlaki defends easily.
Souvlaki is stalling in the full guard.

Yeboah is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Souvlaki has his hands clasped together but Yeboah extends and breaks Souvlaki's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Yeboah.

Sambulo Yeboah was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
