The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Svensson gets the takedown into side control.
Jackson tries to improve position but can't.

We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Svensson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jackson to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Newton misses
and Keenan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Keenan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Newton shoots for a double leg takedown but Keenan sprawls well. He's pushed Newton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Keenan lands a big head kick that sends Newton tumbling to the mat! Keenan takes a step backwards and waves Newton back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Newton is rocked!

It looks like Rodolfo Newton has been cut.
Keenan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Newton. That did some damage!
Oh Newton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Keenan counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Newton! He's just covering up as Keenan starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
