The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd cheers as Duffy lands an impressive looking overhand right. McLarnin doesn't seem phased though.

We've been hearing good reports from Duffy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Blaylock cracks Dyson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Dyson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blaylock on the side of the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Philip Dyson will probably get the nod.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Blaylock and Dyson goes tumbling to the canvas! Blaylock follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Philip Dyson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Blaylock content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Let's hope that Blaylock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Blaylock chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dyson can pounce on him.

Dyson lands a jab to Blaylock's midsection.
A left lands for Dyson.
A bone on bone clash there as Blaylock blocks the leg kick.
Blaylock was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dyson. Blaylock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dyson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Jeez, Philip Dyson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Philip Dyson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
