Bear's coach down at La Grande BJJ & Muay Thai was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bear's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hopkins takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Hopkins has Bear pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Bear manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lott bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lott remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bjoen Lott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Rockhold is not content to let Lott control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lott is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

No joy there for Army, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
East throws a counter combo.
East has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from East there as he acknowledges the shot.
Army misses with a series of wild punches.
East is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Army tries to close the distance and clinch but East swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Despite the aggression on East's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

De Crote shoots in looking for a takedown but Diggs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Crote's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little jabbing left from Diggs on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Smith gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Domani gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
