Kahva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Newton throws out the jab.
Kahva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Newton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kahva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Newton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Newton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Newton jabs Kahva right on the nose. Kahva blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Jenkka Kahva has been cut.
Newton lands a nice shot that snaps Kahva's head back.
Newton cracks Kahva with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kahva tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Newton pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kahva is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Our winner, Cam Newton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
