A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Mayweather to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mayweather stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Mayweather is sitting in close to Lee's body. Lee has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mayweather is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mayweather is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lee.

Gainer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diaz was covering up waiting for the punch and Gainer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Diaz has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Gainer is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

and Biles counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lie won't be happy with that.

Biles looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Biles on the ground.
Lie pushes Biles away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Biles gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Biles is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lie looks calm but he's in trouble here. Biles gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lie is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Biles lets go of the hold and Lie can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Oliveira's coach down at Tōshi was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Oliveira's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Patrick wobbles Souza with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Patrick dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Souza to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kalil.
We've been told by Kalil's head coaches at King's Palace that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kalil checks a leg kick.
Gene takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gene throws a poor cross that misses
and Kalil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kalil lands a head kick that stumbles Gene and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like Aleixo Gene has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gene can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kalil controls the pace.

Kalil gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gene tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kalil is able to avoid easily.

letting Kalil counter with a right hand.
Gene has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kalil.
Kalil fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Gene out cold! Brutal finish!
