Van Der Sluijs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Channings is really squeezing tight and eventually Van Der Sluijs passes out! Channings breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Newman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cid tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Newman is in Cid's guard.

Rogers dives in and grabs Bradley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bradley pushes down on Rogers's head and hops out.
Abe Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Rogers.
