Hammer turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hammer manages to end up in side control.
Gracie struggling a bit here.
Hammer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gracie sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gracie is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hammer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gracie's body to avoid the submission. Gracie has instead reached around Hammer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wilt enables Fosse to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wilt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fosse postures up.
Fosse is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Wilt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fosse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fosse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Guy Brush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brush lands a left and a right that send Shoyoroll crashing to the mat, dazed. Brush thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Xande Shoyoroll has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Shoyoroll has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
