Johnson comes into the arena with I'm Fat by Wierd Al blaring out of the sound system. Tommen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nightmare kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
No joy there for Tommen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Johnson jumps guard and drags Tommen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from David lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McCall has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McCall and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McCall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

In his post fight interview, Robert McCall started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

McCoy comes into the arena with Take it Outside blaring out of the sound system. Robinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chase is better than the Catch by Motorhead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
