The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ching looks for a takedown but Diakite sprawls well.
Ching is looking to clinch.

Diakite shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ching napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ching is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Diakite has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Diakite tries to advance to mount but Ching denies him.
Diakite definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Diakite swings around for an armbar but Ching sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Diakite's guard.
Ching loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ching postures up in Diakite's guard and throws a big left but Diakite blocks it.

Diakite has his foot on Ching's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ching works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ching is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Diakite has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ching is looking to defend but Diakite has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ching! Diakite pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ching taps out and this one is all over!

Soares walks forward, straight into a front kick from Machine.
Soares has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Machine.
Machine throws a nice outside leg kick.
Machine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Machine with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Soares on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Machine. Machine obviously looking to wear him down.
We've been hearing reports that Soares has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Soares closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Machine's guard.
Machine wants to improve his position but instead Soares has moved into half guard.

Soares seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Machine is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Oh Fierro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murillo jabs Fierro to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Murillo drops Fierro with a big left hand and mounts him. Fierro is in big trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murillo postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fierro in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fierro to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Suarez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Suarez pushes Boschman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
I was talking to Boschman's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Boschman manages to break the clinch.
Suarez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Suarez drives through and clinches with Boschman against the cage.
Boschman lands an elbow inside.
