Gilly lands with a nice body punch.
Gilly lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Tim Riggins has been cut.
Riggins throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A big left from Riggins misses.
Riggins throws a head kick but Gilly moves out of range.
Gilly takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Riggins has been working on his boxing with his coaches at R.A.D's Lads in the buildup to the fight.
Gilly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Riggins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gilly throws out the jab.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Riggins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Riggins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Riggins drops his hands momentarily and Gilly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gilly pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Riggins back to the cage. Gilly follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Petr Kropotkin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
