The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogowski closes the distance and clinches up with Jovi, looking for a takedown. Rogowski pushes Jovi against the cage but Jovi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rogowski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Arnold does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Arnold fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Drake has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Neil Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arnold's corner calls for a 1-2. Arnold obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bravie lands a big uppercut and Lazaro crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lazaro looks OK. Bravie waves Lazaro back to his feet!

Lazaro is rocked!
Bravie is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Lazaro flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lazaro is out cold! Bravie holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edward Bravie!
A very excited looking Edward Bravie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Tow walks straight into a right hand from Ysengrin - that's dropped him! Ysengrin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tow from any more punishment! Tow complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Dave Ysengrin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
