Aqua chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Danky can pounce on him.

It looks like Dom Danky has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aqua lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Danky up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Aqua from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Danky's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Bon Aqua was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Jordan looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Jordan backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Bateman's temple! It sends Bateman violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Jordan celebrates and the doctors try to help Bateman!
