These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fah Queue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Veigne!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queue throws a right and a left that both miss.
Queue avoids the body shot from Veigne.
Queue misses with a wild combination.
Queue seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A left and a right from Queue both land. Nice combination.
Queue lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Veigne circles away quickly and effectively.
Veigne goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Queue looks to land a combination but Veigne avoids it well.
Veigne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Queue moves away.
Queue seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Veigne dodges the punch combination from Queue.
Veigne tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Queue's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Queue duly obliges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Veigne lands with a good body shot.
Veigne misses with a straight right.
Veigne lands with a good body shot.
Queue is breathing heavily.
Veigne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Veigne misses the shot to the body.
Veigne scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Veigne throws a body punch but Queue moves out of range.

Veigne throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Queue stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Veigne drops Queue with a beautiful combination! Queue stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Veigne is looking for the KO!

Queue is rocked!

It looks like Fah Queue has been cut.
Veigne throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Queue colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Veigne as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Queue is left battered and dazed whilst Veigne and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Veigne!
Lucas Veigne got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu looks for a takedown but Robertson sprawls well.
Nice cross by Robertson.

Robertson gets a double leg takedown into Liu's guard.
Robertson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Liu's guard.

Liu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson stays in close to Liu's body and controls the position.
Robertson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Robertson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Robertson wants to stand but Liu has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Liu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Robertson misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Robertson or perhaps it was just good defense by Liu, which made it look bad.
Liu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Robertson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Liu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Robertson throws a big elbow that misses.
Robertson passes Liu's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Robertson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Liu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liu is defending against the submission attempts here by Robertson.

Liu is not content to let Robertson control the position.
Liu tries to get to full guard but Robertson has control of the leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Robertson lands with a nice combination. Liu backs away looking to recover.
Robertson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
No joy there for Robertson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Liu wants to counter with a clinch but Robertson pushes him away.
Robertson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Liu gets caught flat footed, as Robertson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Robertson throws a big right hand that misses.

Robertson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Robertson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Liu is breathing heavily.

Liu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Robertson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Robertson throws a strike but Liu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Robertson looking for a triangle here. Liu is fighting it but it looks tight! Robertson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Liu is tapping out - this one is all over!

Mosby wants the takedown. Koff is fighting it off but Mosby persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Koff's guard against the cage.
