Davola feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Davola is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davola crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sato - the referee stops the clock and Davola gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sato. Davola manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Heiluu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Cassit Heiluu will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that The Sigit will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to The Sigit.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shipman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Larry sprawls well initially but Shipman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Shipman content to control rather than advance.
Shipman throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Larry to regain full guard.
Shipman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shipman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Shipman dives in and grabs Larry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Larry pushes down on Shipman's head and hops out.
