I think Batista might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Walk Alone. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Batista dives in and grabs Zimmer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zimmer pushes down on Batista's head and hops out.
Batista misses with a takedown attempt

and Zimmer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Batista avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Zimmer is posturing up here but Batista has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Zimmer tries to roll out but it's too tight and Zimmer has to tap! Slick submission there by Batista!

A very excited looking Dave Batista rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

I think McVeigh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to E-Dubble - Let Me Oh. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fredholm's choice of entrance music: Kano - Can't Hold Back Your Lovin' . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Sikaniska paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Sergei Mironov has been cut.
Sikaniska slips a jab and a cross from Mironov.
Sikaniska lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mironov circles away quickly and effectively.
Mironov clobbers Sikaniska with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Mironov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sikaniska is wriggling around but Mironov manages to pass to half guard.

Mironov wants to pass the guard but Sikaniska is defending well.
Mironov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sikaniska keeps working.
Sikaniska pushes Mironov off looking to stand but Mironov dives back in and keeps control.

Mironov stands up and beckons Sikaniska to join him on the feet.

and Mironov counters with a double leg. Sikaniska bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Mironov follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.

We've been told by Brown's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
