The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumerod wants to clinch up but Blackmore keeps it at a distance.

Blackmore throws a series of punches but Sumerod moves out of range.
Sumerod tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blackmore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from Blackmore.
Blackmore throws a shot from downtown. Sumerod moves away and avoids it.
Sumerod went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Blackmore feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sumerods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sumerod.

A little jabbing left from Blackmore on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sumerod tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blackmore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sumerod definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sumerod will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Aidan Sumerod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Blackmore! Sumerod is backing up but he can't get away as Blackmore lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Sumerod and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Clark comes to the cage accompanied by Rent a Wreck. Schilling comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sweet Caroline-Neil Diamond kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Clark enables Schilling to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Clark manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Schilling stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clark swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Schilling trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Clark holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hayway drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jabber manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hayway has Jabber in his guard.


Hayway escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jabber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Nathan Hayway will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nathan Hayway.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hayway, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Christian Evansen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Evansen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Belmont connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Evansen scrambles back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Evansen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
