That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ringo Scorpion.

Black cracks Pontius on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pontius falls backwards against the cage. Black follows up with more strikes that drop Pontius to his knees. Black keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pontius! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Lee Black thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Valjean throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Valjean cracks Herring with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Herring defending well as Valjean loads up on a big left hand.
Herring was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Valjean looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Valjean keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Valjean tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Valjean drops Herring with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Herring looks back up at him and smiles so Valjean waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Heath Herring has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Herring doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Valjean engages and cracks Herring with a massive lead left hook - Herring tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Valjean is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Calvancante bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gamma's head.

Gamma cracks Calvancante with a hook to the temple - Calvancante is on wobbly legs here! Gamma swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Calvancante falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Gamma wins by TKO!

Alpha Gamma is the new featherweight champion!
Alpha Gamma decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
