The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tribal shoots for a takedown but Dincht saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tribal closes the distance and clinches up with Dincht, looking for a takedown. Tribal pushes Dincht against the cage but Dincht circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dincht tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tribal defends well and Dincht ends up having to push Tribal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tribal lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Zell Dincht has been cut.
Dincht tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tribal just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dincht is pushing Tribal up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Dincht shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tribal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dincht was covering up waiting for the punch and Tribal finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dincht tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tribal slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well Tribal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Schelokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schelokov comes to the cage accompanied by Sirens . Mitchell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Joe Jackson- I'm the Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gustav Ragnarson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A cross from Blazer lands.

It looks like Gustav Ragnarson has been cut.
Blazer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Blazer throws a lazy right hand but Ragnarson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ragnarson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Blazer throws a big shot that misses.
Blazer misses the jab.
Ragnarson shoots in looking for a takedown. Blazer tries to sprawl out of it but Ragnarson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blazer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ragnarson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Blazer manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ragnarson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ragnarson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Blazer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ragnarson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Blazer is trapped and Ragnarson is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Jintao has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jintao there as he acknowledges the shot.
Shinyo Jintao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jintao throws out a leg kick but McKane moves out of range and Jintao only half commits.
McKane jabs at Jintao's body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jintao.
Jintao throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jintao lands a leg kick that knocks McKane off balance momentarily.
Jintao tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McKane is able to avoid easily.

That kick from Jintao tenderised McKane's leg. McKane is trying to keep his angry face on.

McKane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jintao. Jintao obviously looking to wear him down.
Jintao stuns McKane with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jintao lands a nice leg kick that just misses McKane's sensitive parts.
Jintao misses with a low kick as McKane jumps back.
Jintao does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McKane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jintao.
Jintao walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McKane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
McKane takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jintao throws a low kick but McKane avoids it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jintao closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and McKane counters with a three punch combo that has Jintao backing up. Jintao nods at McKane to acknowledge the strikes.
Jintao buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jintao throws a body shot but no joy.
Jintao tried to score with a low kick but McKane checks it.
McKane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McKane's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Good work by Jintao as he checks the leg kick.

McKane manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jintao on his heels. He'll look to pass Jintao's guard now, I'm sure.
Jintao is trying to keep McKane in close.
McKane advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McKane wants to work for an arm triangle but Jintao is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Shinyo Jintao will probably get the nod.

McKane circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jintao to the canvas! Jintao doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - McKane keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
