The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mendez to score with a decent uppercut.
Machado fails with a takedown attempt.

The referee asks Machado politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Machado prefers to stall for the moment though.

Machado wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mendez, who protects the arm well.

Machado thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mendez wants to get back to his feet but Machado drags him back down.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Machado has hold of Mendez's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mendez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Machado cranks the arm and Mendez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mendez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panteleev cracks Gracie with a good jab.
Panteleev bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gracie's head backwards.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It seemed like Panteleev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Panteleev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Panteleev to the mat! Panteleev manages to get full guard.
Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Panteleev pushes Gracie off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Donk. Panteleev catches Gracie right on the button with a cross.
Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Leonid Panteleev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Panteleev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Panteleev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Panteleev lands a nice shot to the body.
Panteleev cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Rimario Gracie has been cut.
Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Panteleev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Panteleev is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Gracie with a body shot.

Panteleev lands a left and a right that send Gracie crashing to the mat, dazed. Panteleev thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!
Panteleev cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Panteleev points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Gracie wakes up just in time to hear Panteleev thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Rudolf Rammhammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean shoots in looking for a takedown but Rammhammer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rammhammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
