Horrible takedown attempt by Ank or perhaps it was just good defense by Cole, which made it look bad.
Cole throws out a counter right but Ank avoids it with no problem.

Ank looking to score a takedown here. Cole is defending well but Ank drives through and ends up in Cole's guard.
Ank loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ank won't allow Cole to sweep him here.

Cole bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ank's guard.


Ank is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cole has his hands clasped together but Ank extends and breaks Cole's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ank.

Madruga lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Madruga bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Winkle misses with a takedown attempt
and Madruga counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Madruga scores with a hook to the body. Winkle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Madruga feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Winkle sprawling to the canvas! Winkle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Madruga finish him?!

It looks like John Winkle has been cut.
Madruga weaves into range and cracks Winkle right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Winkle goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Madruga is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Reaper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Breaker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Breaker has closed the distance and engaged Reaper in a clinch.
Reaper drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Breaker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Breaker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reaper tries to avoid it but Breaker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reaper to the ground. Reaper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Reaper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Breaker's half guard.
