The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikksen dives in and grabs Ignacio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ignacio pushes down on Erikksen's head and hops out.

Erikksen goes for a double leg but Ignacio avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ignacio continues to drive forward.

Erikksen dips a shoulder and cracks Ignacio with a mighty uppercut! Ignacio falls back against the cage and Erikksen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ignacio is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Erikksen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Nice takedown defense from Calderon. No joy for Barnett on that attempt.
Despite the aggression on Calderon's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Calderon enables Barnett to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Calderon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Barnett drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barnett jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
